This is Eco 1...
We have reached Abbotsford (85 km) at 2100 and checked into the Rio Motel (80 bucks). We had reserved a campsite at the Aloha RV and Campground just west of town, but the elderly and not too pleasant German woman who crawled out of her troll office denied we had a reservation and refused to give us any help on other camp grounds. Rain threatened.
So, we pressed on into town and got help from a kind old East Indian gentleman at the all-vegetarian pizza joint ( buck a slice - and gooood).
So as night closed in we took the motel room low on options. For security,e disassembled the EcoRocket and put it in the room with the EcoPod in the motel room. Some rearranging of the furniture was necessary.
A camera phone picture of the EcoRocket in throom beside the Canucks playoff game should soon follow.
This is Eco 1 over...

Roger your Abbotsford arrival. Congratulations, Econauts!
Camera-phone image of EcoRocket and Canucks playoff game is much appreciated. (Heartbreaker of an over-time loss!)
If at all possible, Mission Control would like to receive short camera-phone videos of the expedition, including some documentation of Extra Vehicular Activities.
Please report your current position, and intended check-points for Wednesday's journey.
Have a good one, fellas.

Roger your request for video. Unfortuneately, the onboard camera does not have video functionality. Will do our best to send more environmental photos along.
May 2 schedule is to present to McMillan Elementary in Abbotsford at 1330 hours, then press on toward Hope, BC. Camp site availability is uncertain at this time. We may have to adapt as we go. In Hope we have a morning and afternoon presentation.
That's all for now.
