This is Eco1...
We reached Taber municipal campground last night. With thundershowers and Snow threatening, the kind and gernerous Todd family have taken us into their care and warm trailers here.
The forecast is for more rain until snow in the afternoon and and rain again tomorrow. We've decided to accept the Todd's kind offer to stay another day instead of risking a snow storm. We hope tomorrow will be better for travel.
There's much to tell, Skipper. Must go now. There's no signal in the valley we're in and must get to the top to send it.
Too bad for the delay, but we couldn't have hoped for better hosts. Deep thanks to Steve, Jane, Courtnie, Siobhan and Cory. If only I could remember all of Steve's hilarious stories!
This is late May?

Ya mean Taber, AB right? You're not going backwards I trust! That would be real bad for the derailleur as well...
Doc,
Whoops! Thanks for pointing that one out. I changed the BC into AB.
Where's my head?

Global Warming at work again. Snow at the end of May in Alberta and temperatures in Southern Ontario the highest ever on record for May. It's been around 30 degrees Celsius here.
The level of Lake Superior neat Thunder Bay, ON is down 8 FEET this year and nobody knows why. This from the mounths of people who live there. They have about an additional mile of shoreline.
I was actually feeling a bit sorry for myself yesterday having to work in a greenhouse on a very hot sticky day....then this morning I turned on the news and saw Calgary covered in snow...ok you win.
Very nice of the Todds to put you up for a couple nights. Winter camping in May isn't all it's cracked up to be.
