It was nice to just relax for the morning (a presentation in the afternoon this time). I took the opportunity to hike into the woods around camp and study some of the ecological surroundings. Nature is so fascinating and complex to me. One of my favourite things to do is walk into the wilderness - never far away in BC - close my eyes and just listen.
I came across the Hedley Heritage Museum in my wanderings and look into the past. My good deed for the day was to rescue a robin which was trapped inside an old garage.
Some photos to come.

Yesch...
A little R+R, but now it's over and we're on the road again, going north on the TransCanada.
Just stopped for a shake in Sicamous. Hope to make camp in a few hours.
