Report from MISSION CONTROL: May 15, 2007

At 8:45 AM (P.S.T.) the Econauts reported in near Nakusp, B.C. as they were "getting into a steep climb now".

They intend to take Hi. 6 East for about 47 km to New Denver. They will then take Hi. 31A to Kaslo, at which point they will take Hi. 31 south to Kootenay Bay.

After a ferry ride across Kootenay Lake, the Econauts will venture south along Hi. 3A to the end of Kootenay Lake. Then, turning onto Hi. 3, they will head toward Creston, Cranbrook and Crowsnest Pass.

Today's ambitious goal is to reach the foot of Kootenay Bay (and the hotsprings, no doubt).

Best of luck, Econauts! And please report in upon arrival at tonight's checkpoint.

Eco 1... This is Mission Control....

Over and OUT.
