Special Report: Queen's Engineering

I met Scott Dawg's double at Queen's Engineering. Deo walked up to me this morning as I was breaking camp to look at the EcoRocket. He was really interested on how it was built and Scott Dawg's metal structure support.

Then I found out that Deo is the master mechanic/welder for all of Queen's experimental solar car, Baja racer, and Formula One car. Deo happily gave me a tour of his work shop where he helps the students build their vehicles. It surprised me that everytime a new vehicle is completed and goes in competition, they'll salvage parts from it to build the next one. There were stripped bodies of previous year's vehicles all over Deo's shop.

Deo has one of the best jobs in the world and I really appreciate all the time he took to show me the fine vehicles at Queen's Mechanical Engineering.
