Success!
The new BlackBerry Wireless connection test has passed.
We now have mobile text and image activation for the expedition's second stage - Toronto to St. John's.
The only thing Eco1 does not have is mobile voice reception. I believe the speaker function on my cellphone is broken. I think I can talk on the cellphone, but I can't listen. I will have to test my ability to send one-way voice messages to Mission Control.
The only projected Blackout zone for this portion of the expedition is between Quebec City and Bathurst, New Brunswick.
I hope there is no further technical problems.
