Fredericton YMCA - Day Camp

It was fun to talk to a big group of kids (and counsellors) about the expedition and Global Warming. Many thanks to camp director, Dave, who appearently had heard about Kids Can 2007 before.

I pulled the EcoRocket into the shade out front and the kids sat on the grass with many, many questions. One astute camper remarked that the expedition wasn't entirely carbon-free - the food I ate and the building materials required gasoline for transport. I happened to be eating an orange as I spoke (importrd from Florida). He was right. Try to buy locally whenever you can kids.

Finally, a special thanks to Suzanne of Fredericton who guided me back to the #2 TransCanada in her red Smart car. Remember, no idling, Suzanne.

Adieu!
