Update from Mission Control

On Tuesday, June 19th @ 6:08 PM, Mission Control received a call from Major Dude. His cell phone seems to working again, although the display screen has given out.

The Econauts were at White River Public Park, which is about 100 km west of Wawa, Ontario. They camped near the Winnie the Pooh statue. Apparently, in White River, the "birthplace" of the beloved Winnie the Pooh, it's all about the Pooh. Which is fitting considering that the Econauts are in the heart of bear country. In fact, according to reports, some of the locals feed the local bears donuts from Robin's Donuts, situated about 100 yards from the Econauts' campsite!

Today the Econauts were planning to make the journey to Wawa. And after Wawa they will be entering a communication blackout for an estimated 7 days as they travel to Sault Ste. Marie.

Major Dude said the rear-wheel was holding up very well since the last repairs. We just have to keep our fingers crossed that the EcoRocket main-frame doesn't decide to break in half, because welding at the side of the highway without any welding equipment will prove challenging.

Best of luck Econauts! We're with you all the way....

Eco 1.... This is Mission Control.... Over and OUT.
