On Sunday, June 10th @ 9:43 PM, Mission Control received a message from Mrs. Shirley Pocock that the EcoRocket has suffered a bit of a mechanical problem. A loose rock seems to have snapped the rear derailer in half!
The Econauts are about 100 km north-west of Thunder Bay, and are camping at a fishing resort in the Lac Des Mille Lacs region. And although the walleye and pike are highly prized, it is believed that the Econauts are more focused on finding replacement parts for the EcoRocket.

Our fingers are crossed that the Econauts can get back on the road soon....
