Checkpoint: Virden, MB

Mission Control...

This is Eco1...

We have passed safely into Manitoba!

We have set camp in Virden, MB and hope to reach Brandon tomorrow for repairs in the late afternoon.

Today was a great day for velomobiling. What a change. Warm, no wind, and blue skies.

We had a bit of a late start - 1030 hours - because charming Old George insisted in the most hospitable way that we visit his western antique museum. He was right, I'd never seen anything like it. I'll write about it in a special report.

Almost everything is wet or drying, Skipper. And even I think I need to wash my clothes. But tonight, with the help of the CP rail horns, I should have a good night's sleep.

Before I forget! They sure do seem to like Drive-In theatres around here. A lot of small towns have one. And thanks for the compliment, Christina. I don't get too many of those.

This is Eco1 Over and Out.
