Destination: St. John's

Mission Control...

This is Eco1...

Eco1 has arrived at destination St. John's - where the sea meets the land.

The expedition to make the first crossing of Canada - Ocean to Ocean - in a velobobile is a success!

Many, many thanks to the Econaut Team - Skipper, Rusty, and Doc - for their unflagging support.

Special thanks to my mother for her love and support, sister Sue for all her work on our behalf, and Scott Dawg for masterful mechanics.

The Econaut Team could not have succeeded without the generous financial support of private and corporate sponsors - all with names written on the side of the EcoRocket.

But most of all...I WANT TO THANK THE KIDS!!! Thanks for joining the Kids Can 2007 adventure!

Now's the time for champagne after the media interviews and try and figure a way to get back to Toronto.

Eco1 Out.

Hail, the greatness of praise!

All I can saw is in the deed, I called upon the example of those who came before me.

I'm humbled by the example of the voyageurs who laid the template of our our land and the soldiers who laid down their lives for Canada. Their like....

Way To Go Bill!!!
Mom called me very excited to see you on the 6:00 NTV news. We will try to record it at 11:00 (9:30 EST).
Time to get some ice on those war wounds.
Ellen, a woman I work with, from a large down-eastern family, wrote to me:
"if he can't find a way to get home he may be forced to say with some of those newfies....no worries they will feed him and give him lots of liquid. They know how to do it right"

MD,
You should contact Guiness Book of World Records and get your mission recorded! That would be great to see you & the velo in the book!
