Different Types of Canoe Hulls? That's right!These are drawings of canoes cut in half.
The drawings are very helpful for imagining the EcoRocket
because it is made in the same way a cedar strip canoe
or kayak is made. Half sections (or 'stations') like these are
placed about 30 centimeters apart along a central spine
(or 'strongback'). Then, thin cedar strips are glued
around them to create a canoe. The 'arched' canoe hull
looks best for the bottom (hull) - and top (deck) of the
EcoRocket. See what happens when two arched
hulls are placed together with rounded sides below...
