The instant Bill met us in the Royal York Hotel he declared, "You'll never make it". Bill's our kinda guy.
Here's what IMDB says about Bill Vigars...Bill's experience with cross-Canada expeditions has already proved invaluable to our planning. We look forward to many adventures with Bill and Jeff along the way!
The Toronto Star called him one of Canada's top publicist. Bill Vigars first project was on the 1980s CBS late night series "Night Heat", where he also acted in over 25 episodes as either a drag queen or wino. He has worked with a wide range of talent from the Bowery Boy's Huntz Hall, to Diane Lane, Phyllis Diller, Buster Rhymes and Donald Sutherland. Renowned for his vast collection of unusual shoes, Vigars has been in publicity for over 40 years. His role in the heroic Marathon of Hope was portrayed by Robert Duval in the 1981 feature film "The Terry Fox Story."

"You'll never make it"? sounds like the prophecy the econuts were born to defy!
Still checking on possible ecorocket storage points - we do have a public school across the street -maybe you could store it in their gym? cost: one participation-era rope climb?
Anyone who has staked out the "whino/drag queen" acting territory has my vote.
