EcoRocket Chassis

The Econauts have a new sponsor for their Kids Can 2007 mission!

WizWheelz has sold one of their tandem trikes to the Econauts at a discount. This trike will be the EcoRocket chassis.

Below are two photos of the tandem trike in Ma Pocock's Econaut Top-Secret fab shop.

Now we're ready to start creating the EcoRocket fairing!

slick ride - pretty comfy looking chairs.

Man,

It's so low to the ground - like riding a go-kart. Ka-razy.

When I think about those cats going across Canada on their Pogo sticks, I don't know why they don't just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Might need some lower back pillow support, though.

Aye, looks leisurely indeed... I would need an Obus Forme myself, though I suppose that heat and moisture transfer will call for a more lightweight, breathable type of padding.

I have several questions: by law or by design, will the Ecorocket be equipped with safety belts? Is this even a requirement? Will the Ecorocket require a licence plate?

Katrocket,

Safety belts: The EcoRocket is a cycle in the eyes of the law and not required to have safety belts. It won't have safety belts.

License plate? Velomobiles don't require license plates as they're categorized as a cycle.

Thanks for the great questions!
